The stated goal is to help clients look and feel beautiful inside and out. Lash extensions are the core of the business, with full sets, refills, lash lifts, keratin lash lifts and tinting, and brow services include lamination, tinting, microblading and nano brows. Facials range from quick lunchtime treatments to longer custom and targeted facials, and PCA peels are customized to skin type. Waxing, tinsel application and teeth whitening with a take-home kit are also available.

Visiting Bloom is straightforward: clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to wash their lashes and fill out an appointment form. A $40 deposit is taken at booking, and services need 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. The Willow Glen studio has no marked parking spaces, so clients can park behind the building, on Lincoln Ave., or in the shopping center across the street, avoiding spaces marked for other businesses. The booking page lists Monday hours of 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Wednesday and Friday hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and closure Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Membership plans for lash refills are offered at three levels, with no contract, a four-month minimum and no start-up fees. Members receive 10% off aftercare, discounts on volume upgrades and retail, and access to member-only events. Bloom also hosts private group events, where the studio is closed to the public and guests choose from the available services; these need a minimum guest count and are offered at Willow Glen and Soquel.

Giving back is a steady part of the business. Since opening, it has donated over 1,200 coats through a winter coat drive for people experiencing homelessness, and it holds these drives every winter. It also supports Women Helping Women and local schools. Past product items have sent all proceeds to a breast cancer research organization. The owner says a portion of every aftercare product sale goes to charity. The salon reports press coverage in publications such as Lashed, Lash Cast, Lash Society, The Knot, Styled, Brides California, Elegant Bride and Style Unveiled, and says it has received honors including the People's Choice Award for Best Store and Talk of the Town.
