Bloom & Bare Wax Studio LLC is a waxing studio in Longwood, Florida, located on the Suite 5 level of the Two Twelve Beauty & Wellness building. Julia owns the studio and is its only esthetician, so clients work with her directly from booking through to the appointment.

The waxing menu runs from small facial areas such as the nose and upper lip to underarms, half and full arms, half and full legs, and bikini and Brazilian waxing. Prices start at $10 for nose waxing and go up to $70 for a full leg wax, and appointment lengths range from 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the area.

Before a session, clients are asked to let hair regrow for two to three weeks after their last shave, until it reaches about the size of a grain of rice, and to skip shaving in between visits. Gently exfoliating the treatment area ahead of time is recommended, as is arriving with clean, dry skin that has gone 24 hours without lotions or oils. Loose, breathable clothing is also suggested. Clients should tell the team about any medications they take, including Accutane or strong topical retinoids. A non-aspirin option such as ibuprofen may be taken roughly half an hour before the appointment. Caffeine is best avoided beforehand.

After a service, the studio advises avoiding sunbathing for 48 hours before and after, and avoiding hot tubs, pools, saunas, intense workouts, friction and heavy sweating for at least 24 hours, ideally 48. It also suggests booking two to three days ahead of a major event or beach trip.
