Blonding by B is run by Blair, known to clients as b, and focuses on blonde hair. Blair has served clients as a blonde hair specialist in Denver since 2019, and the business works from a suite in Westminster.

Color is booked as one of four session packages: The Mini, The Keep Up, The Refresh and The Revamp. Each suits a different stage of blonde maintenance, from a root touch-up with face-framing highlights to a multi-session correction.

Visits are by appointment only. Clients who are unsure which service to book can submit a new client consult form, and an email confirms the choice. On the morning of the appointment, clients fill out a short form to pick music, drinks and atmosphere and to say whether they need to work or would rather chat. Clients can wait in the lobby, which has complimentary coffee, sparkling water, wine and snacks, and text on arrival.

Appointments can be prebooked up to 12 weeks out, either before leaving the salon or online. New clients should expect to find openings up to 2 to 3 weeks out for a first visit. Payment is accepted by cash, card, Venmo or Vagaro pay later, which carries a 6% service fee and requires confirming eligibility before the appointment. Parking is free in the open lot in front of the building, and free wifi is available.

The business describes itself as carbon neutral and a small business. It is partnered with Green Circle Salons, which recycles hair clippings, used foils and excess color, and it states a goal of contributing to the removal of 95% of salon waste from landfills.

Color is planned around each client's maintenance, lifestyle and budget, with an aim of consistent results and an emphasis on the connection with each client in the chair.
