Blonderellas Hair Studio opened in 2006 under the name Hypnotic Studios. Stephanie Harms Barton owns the studio and works there as a stylist, with a focus on blondes and corrective color, which she says makes up about 85% of her work.
Bookings are by appointment only. New clients need a consultation before booking, which can be a free text exchange with photos or a 15-minute in-person visit. Before booking, new clients are asked to text a selfie of their roots and a full-length photo of their hair so the studio can plan the color.
Beyond color, the studio offers haircuts, hair extensions, updos, eyebrow waxing and eyebrow lamination, and eyelash lifts and tints. Deep conditioning treatments with steam are available, and Reiki sessions are offered at the studio.
The studio also sells hair products online, with shipping to the customer's door and free shipping on orders over $75. The product selection includes a wide range of professional color, styling and treatment brands, plus a skin care line and K18 treatment products.
Clients travel to the studio from other states for its color work.
The studio works one-on-one with each client, centering the visit on that client's goals, honest expectations about what can be achieved, and the health of the hair.
