BLISSS Self Care Studio is at 112 Courtyard Drive in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Megan, the owner and a licensed esthetician, went out on her own in 2019 after leaving a corporate lash job. The studio's main focus is clearing acne, alongside chemical peels, microchanneling, facials, lash extensions and waxing.

Treatments are customized to each client, and clients can choose the music or podcast played during their appointment. The studio is set up more like a relaxed living room with friends than a conventional spa, and the salon says laughter is part of every service.

New clients can begin with a 45-minute Consult Facial that includes a skin camera analysis, or book a 30-minute virtual consult, where the fee goes toward a regimen purchased at that consult. The facial menu runs from a 35-minute Express Facial to a 75-minute all-inclusive Blisss Tier 3 facial, with a fully individualized 80-minute Bespoke facial that follows no set protocol.

Booking is by appointment only, Monday through Saturday. Prices may change without notice, and the studio reserves the right to refuse service. The FAQ covers rescheduling, cancellation, refunds, late arrival and parking. Products sold include Acne Med 5%, Colorescience Brush On SPF and Carboxy Skin Mousse, and gift cards are sold on the website.

Treatments are tailored to each client's skin and goals, with an acne-focused menu and a relaxed, humorous tone during visits.
