Blissful Skin offers skin care and waxing from a suite inside Serenity Salon Suites on West Bell Road in Glendale. The business says its goal is to help clients feel comfortable and happy in their own skin.

The facial menu ranges from a 60-minute hydrating facial, customized to each client's skin needs with enzyme treatment, extractions, high frequency and a hydrating mask, to a 90-minute Ageless Facial for anti-aging and hydration that uses Glymed products. Other options include a 60-minute dermaplane facial, a 90-minute Stress Solution spa facial with steam, ultrasonic extractions, oxygen infusion and massage of the face, neck and decolletage, a 90-minute oxygen-based Deep Pore Facial, and a 70-minute back treatment.

Peel and acne services include a 45-minute superficial peel selected by skin type from lactic, glycolic or salicylic options, and a 30-minute Jessner peel that comes with aftercare products for the following week. Microneedling is priced by area, with full face and neck at $250. Acne care starts with a $100 consultation that reviews skin type and background, sets expectations and creates a home care plan. Returning acne treatment is $150, with a bi-weekly treatment at $100 on the second appointment of the month. An acne starter kit of cleanser, toner, moisturizer and SPF can total $180.

Waxing is available for the lip, chin, sideburns, underarms, neck and hairline, arms, stomach, face, bikini and Brazilian areas, and the back. Back waxing is $80, with an additional $40 when the full back is needed for coarser hair. Eyebrow services include brow shaping at $20, brow wax with tint at $35, and eyebrow lamination with wax and tint at $70.

Clients book with a card on file, which is not charged until the end of the service. Cancelling or rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the appointment, while later cancellations are charged 50 percent of the service price. Clients arriving 14 minutes late are seen with one service element removed at full price, and those 15 or more minutes late are charged 50 percent and the appointment is canceled. Packages and memberships follow the same cancellation and late rules.
