Sanitation is a central part of how the salon works. Metal tools are disinfected, sealed in sterilization envelopes and run through an autoclave at 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Each client receives a single-use kit with a file, buffer and pumice, and every pedicure uses a disposable jet liner. Tools that cannot be disinfected are thrown away or given to the client after one use. Clients who bring their own tools still have them disinfected before use, as state law requires. The salon says it aims to meet the highest industry standards for safety and sanitation.

Pedicure chairs are described as noiseless and pipeless. The salon says its Contego chair is the only one of its kind in the area, and that it is endorsed by the International Pedicure Association; these are the salon's own claims.
