BlandoBraids is a protective braiding business based in Seagoville, Texas. Its services cover a range of braid and loc styles, including box braids, knotless braids, cornrows with feed-in stitch braids, crochet braids, locs, twists and touch-ups for existing styles.

Bookings require a $30 deposit for each appointment. The deposit is non-refundable, but it is credited against the final price of the service. Clients can send it through Cash App or Zelle in the 30 minutes following the booking confirmation email; if it doesn't arrive in that window, the appointment is cancelled. Any remaining balance is settled in cash or by Zelle. Squeeze-in visits are available on Fridays and Saturdays at no added charge, while emergency or last-minute requests incur a $40 surcharge. Rush service is not offered.

Prices listed are base prices. More technical designs or longer lengths can add an upcharge, and the duration of a service depends on head size, hair length and texture. Hair is not included in the service price; the studio can supply hair for an extra fee when the desired color is in stock. Detangling that takes extra time adds a $15 charge. Clients may bring their own oil for the stylist to apply after braiding, and human hair recommendations are available by text request.

Visits have a few practical requirements. Clients need to be 10 years or older, and men and children are not currently serviced. Hair should be at least 3 inches all around and arrive freshly washed, detangled and blown out, free of oil, grease or conditioner. Extra guests are not allowed during services. The address is sent by email 24 hours before the appointment.

Changes and missed appointments have set rules. A 15-minute grace period applies; a $10 late fee is charged after 15 minutes, and the appointment is cancelled automatically after 30 minutes. Cancellations forfeit the deposit, and cancellations or reschedules must be texted at least 48 hours ahead. One reschedule is allowed within a 3-week period. Style changes cannot be made on the day of the appointment, and refunds are not given once a client leaves. Clients who no-call, no-show may be banned from future services.
