Birdcage Salon & Spa

Birdcage grew out of a long-held wish to open a salon alongside friends and family. The salon describes itself as a peaceful, welcoming place for beauty and self-care, and says all are welcome.

Hair services cover haircuts for all ages and textures, custom curly haircuts and curl care, dimensional coloring and highlights, treatments, and styling for weddings and proms. Skin services include facials, microdermabrasion, body waxing, and lash extensions. Nail services include full sets of acrylics, manicures, pedicures, and nail art.

According to the salon, it is in high demand and frequently fully booked, so reserving in advance is recommended. Visitors can leave their car in the parking area reached at the far end of the driveway, then enter through the main door on the Washington Street side. Cancelling less than 24 hours before a visit, or not showing up, incurs a fee of 50% of the appointment price. Arriving late without having given notice may mean the full appointment length is not available.
