The studio's work is electrology, a method for permanent hair removal. The studio states that electrology is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal, that it has been used for over a century, and that it is safe and effective when performed by a trained professional. Treatment length depends on the body area and hair type, and larger or coarser-haired areas need more sessions.
Every new client is asked to book a free initial consultation before scheduling treatment. The consultation covers the treatment process, expected results, pain management, and aftercare, and a detailed cost estimate for the client's specific plan can be requested during it. Clients who need numbing can talk through pain management with Robin Rosman, and a topical numbing cream is available. For the first 24 hours after treatment, clients are advised to avoid sweating, tanning, sun exposure, and applying makeup.
Clients can book with Robin Rosman, Bee Noll, or both. When Robin's schedule and wait lists are full, Robin refers clients to other electrologists who have availability. Treatment can also continue with the other electrologist during an absence, though that is optional and full coverage is not guaranteed. Hours are Wednesday from 3pm to 9pm and Thursday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm.
The studio works in an inclusive, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental way.
