Care is grouped into four areas. Medical dermatology covers diagnosing and managing skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and rashes, along with skin cancer screening, melanoma treatment, mole and wart removal, rosacea care, and isotretinoin (Accutane) for severe acne. Surgical dermatology includes skin cancer surgery, Mohs surgery, and cyst and lipoma removal.
Laser services include CO2 laser resurfacing for wrinkles, scars and pigmentation, VBeam for vascular lesions such as rosacea and spider veins, IPL, NDYAG, Vasculaze, PICOCARE for brown spots and tattoos, Forma and RF microneedling, and a laser option for facial vessels and brown spots. Cosmetic work covers Botox and Dysport, Jeuveau, Letybo, RHA-2 and RHA-4 fillers, acne scar treatment, microneedling, salicylic acid chemical peels, sclerotherapy and skin tag removal. PRP is offered for hair loss and as PRP microneedling.
Patients can book virtual visits by photo or video consultation, or come in person. Same-day and next-day appointments are offered at both offices for many concerns, and Saturday appointments are available. Glendale is open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM, and Encino is open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. Insurance coverage varies: medically necessary procedures such as cyst removal are often covered, while hair thinning treatments may be considered cosmetic. Patients are advised to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs with the billing department and their insurer. The practice has a late cancellation and no-show policy, linked on its website.
Parking differs by office. Glendale uses a pay parking structure on the hospital campus off Wilson Terrace. Encino has pay metered spaces on Ventura Blvd. and pay garage parking in the Almar building, where the garage accepts cash only.
