Beyond the Binary by Jenna Leigh Skin is located on the sixth floor of Gaston Tower at 6220 Gaston Ave, Suite 630, in Dallas. Clients take the elevators from the lobby, and the business is two doors over from Lakewood Dental. A parking lot sits directly at the building entrance, with an overflow lot off Gaston Avenue and Paulus Avenue behind the building. The studio is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9:15 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday until 8:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. The studio was founded in November 2021 by Jenna Kapitan, a licensed Texas esthetician who has owned and run it for three years. Waxing is a main focus, including gender-inclusive Brazilian waxing, manzilian waxing, full body waxing and upper and lower body waxing that is gender neutral. Waxing is offered only to clients 18 and older. Hair should be about half an inch long for waxing, usually two to three weeks of growth. The studio uses a high-quality wax and offers sugaring as an alternative to hard and soft wax. The studio describes its Brazilian waxing as the best in Dallas, and describes its Beyond the Bundles combinations as the most booked waxing combinations. Skin services cover chemical peels for acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and aging, ProCell Micro-Channeling, DMK Enzyme Therapy, and a multi-month acne program called Acne Bootcamp that uses Face Reality protocols and products. The studio also offers scar revision, including DMK Body Enzyme treatments for scars such as those from top surgery, C-sections and mastectomies. It states it is the only esthetic space in Texas providing gender affirming scar revision using the DMK Body Enzyme method.
