About

Beyond Skin was founded by Anelia, a licensed clinical esthetician, who opened her own studio after graduating. The studio is in Bensenville and draws clients from Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect and the surrounding area. It is open every day from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The studio describes itself as results-driven, ethical, educational and transformative, and describes its treatments as science-backed and minimalistic. Each session begins with a clinical skin assessment and a personalized skincare plan. First-time clients book the First-Time Client Facial, which includes a consultation and skin assessment, a cleansing massage, custom exfoliation, extractions, masks and serums, and a face and décolletage massage. Regular clients are advised to come in every four to six weeks for a personalized facial.

For acne, the Clinical Acne Facial uses salicylic acid and arnica along with customized exfoliation, professional extractions, soothing masks, and oxygen and cold plasma therapy. O2 plus LED therapy and a Corrective Chemical Peel can be added. The studio says most acne clients see improvement after one to three treatments. Its advanced treatments include microchanneling, liquid microneedling and chemical peels, which the studio describes as clinically proven. The studio calls Factor Five Regenerative Serum its best-selling serum.

Clients must give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Later changes carry a charge of half the service amount, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. Each appointment can be rescheduled once. A valid credit card is required at booking, and full payment is due at the visit by cash, Zelle, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Google reviews average 5.0 across 112 reviews.

Sessions open with a clinical skin assessment and a personalized plan, and repeat treatments are spaced to suit each method.
