The salon describes its atmosphere as personal and tailored to each client, a one-on-one experience rather than a traditional salon floor.

The menu covers color, from dimensional add-ons and gloss or toner to corrective color, along with highlights, balayage, and vivid colors. Cuts include children's, men's and women's haircuts, beard trims and clipper work. Extensions are offered as tape-in or hand-tied, in micro, mini, partial and full sizes, with installs priced separately; the cost of the extension hair itself is not part of the service price.

New color and extension clients complete a consultation form before booking. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean services are shortened that day or the appointment is rescheduled, and late or missed appointments may incur a $25 fee. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Refunds are not offered, but a complimentary correction can be requested within 7 days of an appointment if a client is unhappy with a service.

Hours are Tuesday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 6pm, Thursday 2pm to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, with the salon closed Sunday, Monday and Friday. Appointments and consultations can be arranged by phone at (630) 286-9885 or by email at beyaprofessionalsalon@gmail.com.
