Both salons share a focus on hairdressing and simple beauty rather than being tied to one place or one look.

Every full service appointment begins with a consultation. Consultation-only appointments cost $100 and that amount is credited toward the first full service booked. Bookings require a credit card, and cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice or a 50% cancellation fee applies. Prices may increase based on a client's individual needs.

Services are grouped into styling, color, and treatments and extensions. Styling covers blow dries, cuts with blow dry, and barbering, with prices rising by stylist level. Color covers glosses and toners, base tints, bleach and tone, and partial or full lights, balayage and painting, again with stylist, senior and principal tiers. Treatments include Olaplex and Milbon products and texturizing for short or long hair.

Extension services are priced only after a consultation. Extension color work includes base color matching and cutting of the extensions in the service price, while any additional services may cost extra. Special occasion hair, including bridal hair and styling away from the salon, can be arranged by contacting the receptionist.

The New York salon is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It can be reached at 646.374.4437 or NewYork@benjaminsalon.com.
