Belle's Corner By LuvYouBody is based in Rowlett, Texas, and concentrates entirely on locs. Its menu covers starter locs, retwists and loc extensions, with separate pricing for children, teens and adults on the starter and retwist services.

Starter loc appointments run about three hours and include the comb coil method and an overview of a loc care routine, followed by 10 to 30 minutes of drying time. Starter locs can be shaped into square, diamond, triangle or crescent patterns, and the minimum length to begin is 2 inches. Retwists take about an hour and a half and are priced the same regardless of cut or length, using the loc smithing method. The business recommends that starter loc clients book retwists to keep their locs maintained.

Marley loc extensions take about five hours and cost $180. Hair is included and clients can choose a color. Retwists are not part of that service and must be booked separately.
