The studio is led by founder Marcy Bazua, who began doing eyelash extensions in 2008 and opened her first studio in San Diego in 2013. She is a licensed esthetician and was certified in eyelash extensions by Platinum Beauty Soul in Okinawa, Japan. According to the website, she has 15 years of extension experience and 11 years in business. She also runs Tucson Lash Academy, a 30-hour, four-day eyelash extension course that the site describes as accredited and approved by the Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board. The course covers theory, model application, clean lash artistry and business practice.

The studio says its goal is for every client to have a good experience. Hauss. of Nails, a nail salon, is located inside Tucson Lash Academy at Suite 103.
