Bee Sweet

Bee Sweet is a hair space in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District, founded by Dani Bee. In summer 2024 it moved into a newly renovated, purpose-built space on West 8th Avenue.

The business aims to be an inclusive, gender expansive and safe space where people can express themselves, and it describes itself as queer and celebratory. Services are priced by the time they take rather than by gender, and no gendered pricing is used.

Haircuts range from fresh, new styles to cuts that are easy to keep up between visits. Nail services are also offered. Clients book by appointment Monday through Saturday; the contact form is not checked daily, so quick questions can go by text or Instagram, and the phone number is listed under Dani.

The space includes two gender-neutral restrooms, a kitchen and break room, and an outdoor area. The shop is ADA-compliant and street parking is available nearby.

Bee Sweet frames its space around inclusion, gender expansiveness and self-expression, with time-based pricing in place of gendered rates.
