Beauty Lounge by Lex

Beauty Lounge by Lex opened in 2017 at 40 Commercial Street in Braintree. The salon is owned and run by Lex, a hairstylist, who works on extension installs, natural hair care, bridal services and makeup for special occasions. The salon describes itself as Massachusetts' destination for dream hair.

The extension menu covers lace wig installs, natural or closure sew-in installs, tape-in installs using Ktips or Itips, and clip-ins. These are described as premium installs meant to blend with natural hair. Install maintenance and bridal bundle or wig packages are also booked through the salon.

Natural hair care includes silk presses and treatments tailored to each client. Bridal services cover hair and makeup tailored to the client's vision, dress and event. Makeup is also offered for special events and nights out. Bridal clients can book a phone consultation for $40, a hair trial for $150 or a makeup trial for $150, and the intake form asks whether the client will travel to the stylist or the stylist will travel to the client within Braintree.
