Its artists are independent professionals who take on wedding parties, and the team is led by owner and founder Melissa Scott, whom the inquiry form describes as the most seasoned artist on the team. New clients reach out through an online inquiry form or by direct message on social media, and a custom proposal follows within 72 hours. A proposal does not hold the date; a signed contract does.

About

Bridal packages bundle hair and makeup for the bride and her party in several tiers, from Just the Bride up to The Ultimate, with the size of the party shaping the price. Quoted package prices are all-inclusive and cover a custom timeline, unlimited communication, a bridal preview appointment, an hour of touch-ups on the day, an hour of round-trip travel, a prep guide and a wedding day details guide. Travel beyond that is charged at $50 to $100 per hour, overnight stays are billed at a varying rate, and holiday dates carry a fee of $175 for team and $250 for lead.

Clients who would rather learn to style their own hair can book one-on-one bridal classes at $300 for three hours with Melissa Scott, or group classes at $500 for three hours that offer an intro level, an advanced level or both. Classes can be held at the client's salon or at the Wakefield location, and the group format travels to the client.

Beyond bridal, the salon offers color, including balayage, foiling, glosses and retouches, along with sew-in extensions, skin treatments, waxing and brow services. Sew-in extensions are custom hair hand-sewn in for added length and volume, priced after a free 30-minute consultation. Services marked for new talent are priced lower. The salon is open Monday 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday to Thursday 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Work is organized as a network of independent artists, with each bridal booking planned from a custom proposal and a timeline set around the wedding day.
