Beautiful Me Makeovers

Beautiful Me Makeovers was founded by Renae Goodhew, who started the studio after seeing that trans, gender fluid and crossdressing people often lacked guidance and a community. The studio offers in-person makeovers in North Hollywood. Its LTK profile describes it as LA's premier male-to-female makeover studio, a claim the studio makes about itself. The studio and the surrounding area are private, and the studio says client privacy is a priority.

Makeovers are offered as tiered packages. The Makeup package is $275 and takes about 2 hours, with a mini facial, close-shave prep, brow grooming, custom lashes and signature makeup. Makeup & Hair, at $385 and about 2.5 hours, adds wig try-ons and expert hair styling. The Duchess, at $650 and about 4.5 hours, adds press-on nails, shapewear options, a lingerie try-on, heels and accessories, six outfit try-ons, a private 1-hour phone photoshoot in two chosen outfits with 100+ photos and a video, and a hot towel and makeup removal.

The Princess package, at $1,125 and about 5.5 hours, builds on The Duchess with unlimited outfit and heel or boot try-ons from the studio wardrobe, a photoshoot in four chosen outfits, 200+ photos and videos, and drinks and lunch at the studio or a nearby outing location. The Queen package, at $2,800 and about 8 hours, adds unlimited try-ons of five to six outfit options with heels and accessories, a private 1.5-hour professional photoshoot with an MTF photographer at a VIP glam studio, 30 lightly touched-up photos, 150+ unedited photos, a behind-the-scenes video, drinks, lunch and a hot towel.

Beyond appointments, the studio offers Glam to Go outings after a makeover, such as lunch on Rodeo Drive or a drag show in West Hollywood, priced on request by email or text. One-on-one makeup lessons are available in person or virtually. A monthly subscription, Monthly Glam, includes guided tutorials, live demonstrations, outings and a VIP group chat. Assistance is available Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Appointments booked before 7:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. carry an after-hours fee, and pricing is by inquiry.
