Skincare is a core part of the studio. A one-hour skin care consultation covers cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing and eye treatments. The deluxe version runs an hour and a half and adds anti-aging treatments and a collagen infusion mask. Sessions include guidance on caring for skin at home, a recommended cleansing system, and preventive treatments. Clients who book a makeup tutorial alongside the deluxe consultation should allow three to three and a half hours.
Makeup services include application and training, on-site or in a personalized session, as well as special events makeup for weddings, proms, pageants and speaking engagements, and commercial makeup for high-definition television, photo shoots, fashion shows and headshots. The makeup tutorial consultation is a complete cosmetic makeover with detailed instructions and takes about an hour and a half.
Color analysis comes in two levels. The basic version identifies whether skin tone reads warm or cool and which core colors suit the complexion, hair and eyes. The complete in-depth analysis uses fabric draping to find a personal color palette and specific color season, and includes a fabric swatch book and a makeup consultation and makeover in those season colors.
The wardrobe side covers a personal wardrobe and closet consultation, which includes a full closet inventory, a personal style shopping list, an online virtual closet, face shape analysis and a body line profile. Personal shopping is billed hourly, and selections are chosen from the client's style list to suit their figure, hair, skin tone and budget.
The studio carries the Modere skincare line, which the studio describes as antioxidant and vitamin-rich and tested for dermatology, sensitivity and allergy. Modere's Collagen/HA Matrix technology is described by the studio as award-winning, multi-patented and clinically proven. For Modere products, customers who see no visible change in their skin can get their money back. Beauti Basics also carries the SeneGence makeup line and sells LipSense long-lasting lip color in more than 50 shades, which the studio says is waterproof and smudge-proof, followed by a vitamin E gloss. An online shop features Modere and SeneGence products, and gift certificates are available. The studio also invites people to join SeneGence or Modere as independent business builders.
The studio aims to help clients feel more confident by enhancing their outer beauty, and it builds skincare and makeup routines around each client's daily life.
