Booking is done ahead of time. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance, after a deposit is paid, and same-day service is not offered. Deposits are sent through Cash App or Zelle to Keywanda Perkins. Amounts vary by service, from $15 for a women's haircut and $25 for cuts, relaxers and shampoo styles, up to $50 for sew-ins and tape-in or I-tip extensions. Loc extension deposits scale with the number of locs, and they are nonrefundable unless the appointment is canceled 48 hours before service.
Some services begin with a consultation. Extensions require one to settle the desired result and how long the install should last. Loc extensions and braid styles or crochet are recommended to consult on, which sets the time and final price. Wigs for installs must be dropped off at least 48 hours before the service.
Hours are limited. Longer services need planning: loc extensions take about 7 hours, sew-ins about 4 hours 30 minutes, and color about 3 hours 20 minutes.
Pricing is set around each client's hair, including texture, density, length and the look wanted, with some final prices settled at consultation.
