Most treatments are customized during the visit. Guests choose the salt, sugar, carrier oil and essential oil blend for their scrub, and the scrubs, soaks, oils and masks are blended during the service from certified organic ingredients. The handcrafted moisturizing mask is made in front of the guest with natural ingredients and certified organic oils.
The salon has worked to cut down on single-use plastic and paper. It has removed plastic envelopes for clean tools, pedicure bowl bags, trash bags, plastic gift cards and foam pedicure slippers, and it no longer prints paper brochures or menus.
Bookings are made through Vagaro on the website, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp or by phone. A credit card is required to book and is charged only if an appointment is cancelled or missed. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are charged in full plus a 15% gratuity, and cancellations due to sickness fall under a 12-hour policy. Only trained service animals wearing official vests are allowed.
Group events require a downpayment, and the site suggests a 25% gratuity. Outside food can be brought in for parties for a fee, and a $100 clean-up fee is not included in listed party prices. Teachers within Pacific Palisades are offered a discount.
