Be Kekoa Salon was started in 2009 by Brandie Kekoa as a family-owned business. It works with curly, wavy and coily hair and has a Temecula location as well as two studios in Palm Desert.

The salon sells its own products, including Be Free Rose Water Mousse for $21 and Be Defined Gel for shaping curls and holding them in place. The line is free of sulfates and parabens.
