It is run by a close group of experienced hair artists, each with their own approach, and the salon aims to support each artist's vision while keeping a fun and healthy feel.

The menu covers men's, women's and children's haircuts (ages 4 to 11), single process and highlight color, balayage and bayalage, keratin treatments and blowouts. Bridal hair, updos and foilage are also offered. Two off-menu services need a little planning: an AMSR (quiet) haircut takes place between 6 and 11 am and is booked a week ahead, and emergency haircuts are booked last minute outside regular hours and must be prepaid. Both are booked by text or phone only. Color services require a color consultation first.

Artwork by San Francisco artists hangs throughout the salon. Street parking nearby has a two-hour limit, and two indoor parking garages are within a block.

Chair rental is offered on a full-time basis, with renters working four days a week, Saturday through Tuesday, for $1100 monthly. Hours run daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. Prospective renters need a client base of their own and a California license, and may not work at another salon or from home. To apply, send a resume by email or phone.

The salon is built around a group of experienced hair artists who each bring their own approach, with the business backing each person's creative direction.
