Bash Beauty Bar is based in Williamstown, New Jersey, and works across makeup, skincare, hair, eyelashes and spray tans. Much of the business is bridal: makeup and hair for brides, bridal parties and junior bridesmaids, with the team traveling to the client's location for wedding-morning services. The business says its goal is for every client to feel like the most important person from first contact through the appointment.

Before a wedding, clients can book a consultation. The makeup consultation covers skin type, a review of makeup photos and styles, choosing a look that suits the face, and a makeup trial. The hair consultation includes reviewing pictures and choosing a style. Trials are held at the home studio in Williamstown and are recommended three to four months before the wedding. Trials can be booked before a wedding, but the date is not guaranteed to stay open. All services are by appointment only. There is no minimum number of services, and parties of one to twelve people are accommodated. The business books only one wedding per day. A wedding date is not held without a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. The artists may decline service for open facial wounds, infectious skin conditions or contagious illness. The work area needs chairs, tables, electrical outlets and good lighting. Before and after photos may be used by the business for promotion. Travel is calculated from ZIP 08094. Beyond a 20-mile radius, travel is charged at $1.00 per mile each way per artist. Clients pay tolls and parking for each artist where they apply. Touch-ups after the ceremony are charged by the hour, plus travel if several locations are involved, and can be provided by a stylist who stays on site.
