Barrington Hair Extensions

Barrington Hair Extensions was founded by Diana Carlini, who has worked in hair extensions for nearly two decades. The business works only with keratin bond extensions, known as K-Tip, and operates from a private studio in Deer Park.

The studio handles new installations and the correction of extensions that were placed elsewhere. Correction work covers weight-line fixes, redistributing density, color correction and blending, replacing bonds, refining shape, and planning a healthier reinstall. Clients include women who are experiencing thinning or hair loss and women who want fuller hair.

A visit starts with a free consultation of about 15 minutes. Online assessments are followed by a personalized recommendation, an estimated investment and a suggested length, density and color plan. Intake forms receive a detailed quote within 48 hours, and cost is based on length, volume, color and the amount of hair used.

Every K-Tip installation includes custom color mapping, glossing, root shadowing and blending. Applications typically take two to four hours, and keratin extensions typically last three to five months with proper care. Extensions can be colored at the salon but not bleached, and the business uses only its own hair, so it does not install hair clients buy elsewhere. Clients are asked not to remove keratin extensions themselves.

The business also makes custom Slavic hair clip-in extensions to order, color matched from client photos, and can ship these sets to clients outside the local area. The salon describes its K-Tip method as one of the most advanced and natural-looking extension methods available, and says beautiful extensions should not come at the expense of healthy natural hair.
