Every new client starts with a free consultation, and treatment plans are built from an evaluation of hair type, skin and the area to be treated.
Visits are by appointment only, with no walk-ins, and the salon is open from 7 am to 10 pm every day. Topical numbing products may be used when appropriate. Clients are typically advised to come once a week, though sessions can be as often as every three to four days depending on the area and skin reaction.
Treatments are performed with the Apilus xCell Pro system, which uses a 27.12 MHz ultrafast radio frequency. The salon describes its equipment as top of the line and says the Apilus xCell is up to six times faster than other hair removal devices. Payment is accepted in cash, major credit cards, and HSA or FSA, and Cherry financing is available to qualified clients, subject to approval and terms set by Cherry.
Barely Hair uses thermolysis only, generating heat within the hair follicle with high-frequency current, and builds each client's plan after a consultation.
