The business describes itself as a medical practice, with laser hair removal and microneedling provided within a medical framework.

Waxing remains the foundation of the business. Brazilian services use a proprietary hard wax, while face waxing uses both strip and hard wax. Sugaring is a sugar-paste method applied in the direction of hair growth. Laser hair removal is performed with a Candela GentleMax Pro for face, body and intimate areas. California law requires a medical clearance exam with a licensed medical practitioner before laser treatment; it can be done virtually or in person, must be completed before booking, and is valid for one year. Clients must be freshly shaved for laser, and Laser Brazilian and Euro services require a signed waiver.

Visits start with an intake form, completed at least 24 hours ahead and including a photo ID; male intimate services also require the Intimates Disclaimer Form beforehand. Check-in is on iPads, and appointments are confirmed by email or text 48 hours ahead. Pricing is fixed and does not change with custom requests or the amount of hair. Mission Viejo has six service rooms, Irvine has five treatment rooms in a renovated retail space called Trade and is appointment only, and all four locations are open Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and no-shows are charged from a card on file.

Memberships carry a three-month minimum, then continue month to month. Members get one favorite service each month at a 10% discount, plus 10% off other services and products, and benefits apply at any location. Smooth Packs give free services with a purchase of 10 (two free) or 6 (one free) and expire two years from purchase. Gift cards work at all locations and are final sale. The retail wax-related line is made through The Wax Company USA and sold only at Bare.
