Bare Ritual Skin Studio

Bare Ritual Skin Studio is on Yorktown Avenue in Huntington Beach. The menu is organized around facials, brow services and waxing. The studio is open Mondays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and is closed Tuesday through Friday.

The facials are the core of the menu. The Renewal Ritual runs 90 minutes for $108 and uses either an enzyme or a chemical peel for exfoliation, with the choice made after a consultation and skin analysis. The BR Back Facial takes 75 minutes for $68 and includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when needed, a mask, hydrating products and a light massage. The BR 60 is a 75-minute custom facial priced at $80, adjusted to each client's skin needs, with a double cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions, a mask, massage and finishing products.

The Bare Reveal facial runs 90 minutes for $100 and uses dermaplaning to lift away dead skin and fine peach fuzz, followed by hydration. According to the studio, Bare Reveal is meant to help improve the appearance of fine lines and acne scars and to help products absorb.

Brow and waxing visits are short. The Arch Reveal takes 40 minutes for $24, and the brow shape is mapped and outlined before waxing. Upper lip waxing is 20 minutes for $13, and underarm waxing is 25 minutes for $18.

Treatments are built around each client's skin, with a consultation and skin analysis guiding the choice of exfoliation and a custom facial adjusted to individual needs.
