About

Bare Elegance Electrolysis is owned and run by Adriane Kludt, a licensed electrologist. The practice offers electrolysis for women, men and teens, with treatments available on most areas of the face and body.

Three methods are offered, all using Ballet Gold probes. Thermolysis uses alternating current at the base of the hair to heat and destroy the follicle. Galvanic treatment uses direct current to produce a chemical reaction that destroys the follicle, which takes noticeably longer. The blend method combines the two currents to speed up that reaction. Each probe is pre-sterilized, individually packaged and disposable, and the probes are plated with nickel-free 24 carat gold. The practice describes these probes as the highest quality available.

The practice says its priorities are client comfort, safety, confidentiality and successful treatment, and that it follows strict standards for privacy and sterilization. Clients are encouraged to understand the process before they begin. Permanent results can take months or years, and many clients return for regular touch-up sessions.

Treatments are priced by length: 15 minutes is $50, 30 minutes is $70, 45 minutes is $90 and 60 minutes is $120. Payment is taken in cash or check at the time of treatment. Hair needs to be at least 1/16 inch long to be treated. Clients are asked to avoid retinol and facials for 48 hours beforehand and to limit caffeine, which may increase sensitivity. Topical numbing cream is optional and can be applied 45 minutes before a session. Between treatments, the area should be trimmed or shaved, not waxed, tweezed or threaded.

Booking details: appointments and consultations are by appointment only, and the practice is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 5pm. A text or email reminder is sent ahead of each appointment, but clients remain responsible for their booking whether or not they receive it. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 100% of the treatment cost. Late arrivals have their treatment time shortened but are charged for the originally scheduled time. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The practice aims to educate clients so they understand each step and have realistic expectations about how long permanent results take.
