Bare & Divine Elkin

Bare & Divine is a skincare and beauty business focused on treatment and relaxing services. It has two locations, one at Brawley School Road in Mooresville and one on North Bridge Street in Elkin.

The facial menu ranges from a 60-minute relaxation option that uses multi-sensory techniques to targeted treatments for fine lines, age spots and textured skin. Other facials address sagging skin and sensitive or inflamed skin, and the Calming Facial is also used for recovery after chemical peels, microneedling or injectables. The business describes the Luxe Lift Facial as delivering faster results with no downtime, and the Divine Signature Facial as especially suited to time before major events.

Chemical peels are offered for the underarms, inner thighs and intimate areas to address discoloration and texture. Underarm peels are generally done in a series of 3 to 8 treatments, while inner thigh and intimate area peels are generally done in a series of 4 to 6 treatments in the cooler months. Peels cannot be combined with waxing. Multi-month packages cover chemical peels, Brazilian waxing and Switch services.

Every booking requires a valid card on file, or clients can prepay if they prefer not to use a card. Clients receive a reminder text two days before and a confirmation text the day before, and they must confirm or reschedule. Unconfirmed appointments are treated as not attended. Rescheduling the same day, no-shows and arriving 15 or more minutes late are charged the full service price, and cancellations made within 24 hours are charged half. Late arrivals may or may not be accommodated, so clients are asked to reach out as early as possible.

Children may attend appointments if they can entertain themselves and stay quiet, but they are not allowed in the room during Brazilian or bikini waxing. Children who do not behave respectfully in the space may not be allowed back. Lash extension clients should arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes and remove contacts before the appointment, and fills are advised every 2 to 3 weeks.

Treatment comes first: facials concentrate on the skin rather than add-ons, so neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage are often not included.
