The studio is on the second floor and is reached by stairs only, with no elevator, so it is not wheelchair accessible. Visitors will find a fun, welcoming space with a pink theme, free parking in the lot, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary beverages and snacks.
Services cover body treatments and body waxing for the legs, underarms, arms, stomach and back, along with face waxing for brows, lip, chin, sideburns, cheeks and jawline. Brazilian waxing removes hair from the front and around the labia, with a lighter bikini option that keeps hair outside underwear or a swimsuit. Vajacials address ingrowns, bumps, clogged pores and rough texture in the bikini area, often after waxing or shaving. Intimate brightening is a series of professional sessions paired with at-home care, and it is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Booking is by appointment only, through the website or by call or text at (813) 562-1423. A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken at booking and applied to the total, and a valid card must be on file. Rescheduling is free with 24 or more hours' notice, while late changes, cancellations and no-shows carry fees. Clients can join the Bare Essentials membership or buy a 3 or 6 month wax pack. Clients come from North Tampa, Tampa Palms, Lake Magdalene, Avila, Lutz, Carrollwood, Wesley Chapel and Temple Terrace.
Before a first wax, the studio asks clients to stop shaving at least four weeks ahead, so hair is about the length of a grain of rice, roughly a quarter inch. Clients should shower before arriving, skip heavy lotions and oils on the area, and use gentle rather than aggressive exfoliation beforehand. Waxing is usually not done for clients using Accutane or strong retinoids, or with open wounds or an active eczema flare in the area.
Appointments are built around a consultation, skin preparation and tailored aftercare, with clients walked through each step.
