Sugaring uses a warm paste of sugar, lemon and water. It is applied against the direction of hair growth and removed without strips. Before a visit, hair should be about one eighth of an inch, roughly grain-of-rice length. Clients are advised to return every three to four weeks, or wait at least two weeks if they are coming from shaving. Clients on their period are asked to use a tampon.
Beyond hair removal, the studio offers brightening treatments for elbows, underarms, knees, the anal area and the Brazilian area. These are described as lightening darker, hyperpigmented skin to create a more even tone. The Vajacial is an intimate-area facial that takes about 35 minutes and includes a warm compress, cleansing, microdermabrasion, an enzyme mask, ingrown hair removal and a hydro jelly mask. It can be booked right after a sugaring appointment. High frequency treatment is added on a follow-up Vajacial rather than the first visit.
The space is described as comfortable and relaxing, with clients welcomed as guests. Memberships cover Brazilian, bikini and underarm sugaring. Membership services do not roll over to the next month, and cancellations or freezes require an email 30 days ahead. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before an appointment to avoid fees, and same-day cancellations are charged the full service price.
