Custom work starts with the Balmaré Atelier tier. Wig and topper creation at this level requires hair sourced through Balmaré Atelier, and the final price is set after a consultation. Balmaré Atelier signature and topper consultations, at $150 each, are the first step before a custom order. Clients who already own a wig can book installation, revive, customization and repair, or removal and hair reset services. Clients who bring their own hair may book an installation-only extension service instead of a hair-included package.

Extension options include weft installation, which can be done as a braidless sew-in, with a butterfly weft, an invisible bead method or microlink weft. Ponytail extensions, Bond In quick weaves with partial, traditional, full, closure, frontal and quick weave wig options, natural sew-ins and sew-in maintenance are also offered. Hair is sold in density levels of about 3 bundles for natural, 4 for full and 5 for signature. Stocked lengths run from 16 to 26 inches, and Natural Wave and Burmese Curly are the core textures in stock. Longer lengths and other textures may be special orders, and ordering timelines depend on texture, length, color, vendor availability and special requests.

Bookings are conditional on accepting the salon's service policies, which cover a deposit that cannot be refunded, terms for changing appointments, and rules for arriving late. Missed appointments and cancellations placed within 48 hours carry a 50% charge. Some visits call for a prior consultation: first-time extension clients, large changes in style, intricate color work, custom wigs, hair replacement and requests for specialty treatments. In-store, Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings between $50 and $4,000, but it must be approved before the appointment. Hours are Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM. The salon is closed Monday through Wednesday.

The salon aims for natural-looking results while protecting the integrity of clients' hair. It may recommend a different service than the one booked if that service is not suited to a client's hair condition or goals.
