The salon opened in 2005 at 953 N. Ashland, serving Ukrainian Village and Wicker Park. As its client base grew, it moved next door to a larger space at 947 N. Ashland. A second location opened on Roosevelt Road in Oak Park in 2013, and the two shops together serve Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, Oak Park and surrounding areas of the Chicago region.

The women's menu includes cuts, blowouts, wash and hairset, updos, braids, hot oil treatments and foil or cap highlights. The men's menu includes cuts with razor line-ups, fades, flat tops, beard and line-up work, face shaves and hot towel shaves. Children can book haircuts and short hair washes.
Bridal clients can choose fashion styling, soft waves, updos (including separate prom and wedding styles), makeup, and shampoo with blowdry. Color services cover haircoloring, retouches, foil or cap highlights, perms and special wrap perms. Nail services include manicures, pedicures, French versions, acrylic nails, gel fill-ins, soak-offs and nail design. Waxing covers the face, sideburns, chin, underarms, eyebrows and legs, and eyebrow threading and ear piercing are offered for both women and men.
The salon says its aim is to give each client good service and to satisfy them, listening closely to what each client needs. Appointments can be booked online, or a request can be sent through the contact form on the appointments page. Online booking lists appointment lengths from 5 minutes for a short hair wash to 3 hours for a hairstyle.
