The salon is in Redlands and has a team of independent stylists, associate stylists and an owner who also cuts and styles hair. Each appointment starts with a consultation about the client's goals, hair history and daily routine, and the stylist then tailors the service to the hair and what the client wants. Services are grouped into brows, color, extensions and styling. Brow tinting is a single service. Color work includes color retouches, partial and full highlights, the Full Air Touch and corrective color, which is priced after a custom consultation. Extensions come in hand tied and keratin bond methods using 100% Remy human hair, and the salon partners with premium luxury extension lines. Hand tied extensions are installed without heat or adhesive, and keratin bonds are applied strand by strand and can last several months before they need a refresh. Maintenance usually falls every four to twelve weeks and often lines up with color appointments, adding about an hour and a half on average. According to the salon, its extension methods are virtually damage free when installed and cared for properly. Styling covers haircuts, barber cuts, classic and luxury blowouts, special occasion styling, custom treatments and keratin smoothing.

Prices are listed as starting points because each service is tailored. Extension methods range from about $200 to $1,500 or more, and final pricing is set at a complimentary consultation. The salon says it treats hair health as its top priority. It serves all hair textures, including waves, curls and coils. Textured hair may need extra time, so clients combining a curl or coil service with color are asked to contact the salon in advance to book enough time.

Booking and policies: cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours notice, and changes made within 24 hours of the appointment carry a $50 fee. Missed appointments without notice are charged in full for the services reserved. Refunds are not offered; the salon adjusts the service instead, and concerns must be raised within seven days. Retail purchases can be exchanged within 30 days. Gift cards do not expire and the balance can be kept on file. New guests can complete a New Guest Form before the first visit. Guests arriving while a stylist is finishing another client are asked to check in at the front. According to the salon, it has a 5.0 rating from 18 Google reviews.

Baby Angel Salon also trains newly licensed cosmetologists. Its Associate Program is a full-time, paid training program, and applicants are asked whether they hold a California cosmetology license. The salon also hires experienced stylists with two or more years of experience and independent stylists.
