Ashley created BA Esthetics after completing beauty school and built the business from there. Her interest in eyelash extensions began in 2015, and she took a lash training class before she went on to beauty school.

Everything is booked by appointment. Clients are asked to arrive without eye makeup or oil-based products near the eyes and to take out contact lenses before the service begins. Extensions can last up to about eight weeks, shedding gradually in the meantime, so infill appointments every two to three weeks are recommended. Between visits, clients should avoid mascara and clean their lashes two to four times a week with a lash cleanser; the studio sells a Foam Lash Cleanser for $15.00 to help keep extensions fresh and support eye health.

The studio also offers a 45-hour lash extension course. Training is in person only, with no online option at this time, and is available as one-on-one or small group classes with flexible dates. Students aged 16 and over may enroll, and those under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent. A separate class is designed for licensed beauty professionals and current beauty school students who want more in-depth lash training. The program is recognized by the state of Indiana, and completing it provides a certificate and approval as a Lash Specialist in Indiana. Registration fees cannot be paid in installments, though the remaining balance can, and training payments are not refundable.
