New guests are asked to arrive a few minutes early to fill out a guest form, and they are offered Aveda comfort tea (hot or iced), coffee or water on arrival. First-time visitors get a quick tour of the salon. Every haircut begins with a stress-relieving treatment, followed by an in-depth consultation, a shampoo and conditioner matched to hair type, and a short style lesson during the blow dry. Services that include a hair wash come with a spa shampoo and scalp massage, and a hand massage is offered while color or a treatment processes.

Color services are priced on a parts-and-labor model, and the salon uses a tool called Salon Scale so clients pay only for the product used. Additional charges depend on how much color is used. Service pricing reflects the time, skill and expertise of the stylist. Treatments can be added to most hair services for an additional fee. Custom creative color and color correction require an in-person consultation, as do all perms.

Facials are offered in 30-minute and 60-minute lengths, and a back facial is available too. The Aveda Facial uses a plant-based peel that exfoliates in two ways. The B. Golden Signature Facial brings together advanced exfoliation, contouring of the face, a lymph-moving massage, optional add-ons, custom masks, and light-based treatment with LEDs. According to the salon, its gel polish is free of HEMA and plant-derived, and the salon says it resists chipping for two to three weeks.

Booking and cancellation rules: clients who want the same stylist are asked to book at least two weeks ahead. Cancellations or reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and shorter notice is charged 25% of the scheduled service. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to rescheduling with a 25% fee. A missed appointment is charged 50%, and after three missed appointments full payment is required at booking. Guests may decline the extras, but no discount is given for doing so. A waitlist receives first chance at any cancelled appointment time. Haircut prices are the same for children, men and women, and express kids cuts are offered to children under 10 with an adult present.
