The business has provided lice removal since 2010. Families in the Valley can book in Buckeye, Carefree, Cave Creek, Apache Junction, Maricopa, Peoria, Goodyear, Chandler, Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, Tempe, Ahwatukee and Phoenix, which the company lists among the many local areas it covers.
Treatment happens at the client's home, so families do not need to travel. The business uses a non-toxic, pesticide-free and chemical-free treatment and does not treat the home environment, which means laundry and cleaning of the house are not required. Families are educated about lice as part of every visit, and clients receive a lice comb and lice information even when no lice are found. A follow-up protocol is provided after the first treatment, and no return appointment is required. The business describes its treatment as the most successful method available today and states it offers a guarantee that the family will get rid of lice, subject to the follow-up protocol.
Pricing is based on time for the whole family rather than per person. In-home lice removal is $120 per hour with a $120 minimum, and time beyond the first hour is prorated in 15-minute increments at $30 each. The business reports that the average treatment for an entire family takes 1 to 2 hours, and rarely more than 2. A travel charge of $25 to $50 may apply depending on distance and driving time. Clients can set a budget at the minimum amount, and if it runs out they can finish the remaining steps by following the instructions provided. Products are included at no extra charge. Quotes are given by phone, and clients are asked to call for an accurate estimate. When clients visit the owner's home instead, the rate is $60 for 1 to 30 minutes, $90 for 31 to 45 minutes and $120 for 46 to 60 minutes.
The treatment is done at home with non-toxic, pesticide-free and chemical-free products, and the home itself is not treated, so no laundry or cleaning is needed. Each visit includes education about lice.
The vehicle carries no advertising and treatment takes place at home for privacy, and the service is described as comfortable and kid friendly.
