AVIA was set up as a place where people feel safe, cared for and confident about their appearance, rather than a business built around trends or quick fixes. The practice describes its work as non-surgical aesthetic care with medical oversight.

The name AVIA was formed by combining the names of the founder's daughters. The practice was founded by Debby Thomas, PA-C.

The Carrollton / West Plano clinic at 4425 Plano Pkwy, Suite 104, Carrollton, TX 75010 serves patients from Carrollton, Plano, Castle Hills, The Colony, Addison and Allen. The Dallas / Bishop Arts clinic in Oak Cliff Tower at 400 S Zang Blvd, Suite 1222, Dallas, TX 75208 serves patients from Bishop Arts, Oak Cliff, Dallas, Uptown, Highland Park and Lakewood. Carrollton is open Monday 9:30 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Thursday 11 AM to 7 PM and Friday 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Dallas is open Tuesdays 10 AM to 6 PM. Both offer select Saturdays by appointment only.

Visits usually start with a complimentary consultation to review options and suitable treatments. Pricing depends on the treatment, the area treated, the product used and the individual plan, and current prices are on the online booking menu or given at consultation.
