Avena Salon Suites

Avena Salon Suites is a suite building rather than a salon with staff. It rents individual private suites to beauty professionals who run their own businesses, and the suites come ready to use with the basic furniture and equipment in place. The building is located inside the Shops at RedBird at 3662 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Suite 1018, Dallas, and it is open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm, and closed Sundays. The business describes its suites as luxury salon suites.

Each suite is furnished with a wash bowl, a styling chair, a shampoo chair, a cabinet and a rollable styling tool station. Tenants can customize their suites, though painting or decorating has to be done by the Avena maintenance team and approved by management. Suites are individually climate controlled, have 24/7 secure access with a touchless entry lock, and are covered by round-the-clock mall security. Free parking is available for clients, and on-site laundry with washers and dryers is open to tenants. Hair dryers are provided, along with a fully equipped break room and common areas.

Lease options are flexible. Suites start at $225 a week. Lease options can include a first week free and one additional free week every 90 days. Move-in requires a 50% deposit. For professionals who want to share, double suites are available for two people to work from one suite.

Wi-Fi and high-speed internet are included with every suite at no added cost, and management sets up access during onboarding. Tenants also have access to a management app and the Salon Suite Solutions app for booking and client communication. Business and marketing support includes workshops, networking events, tools for building an online presence, and development workshops, plus a blog with resources and business insights for beauty professionals.

The salon operates out of a recently renovated shopping center, within walking distance of a child care provider, UT Southwestern and Children's Health. Nearby places to eat include Breakfast Brothers, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and Grandma's Country Kitchen. Dallas College's workforce center is an easy trip away, and the Dallas Police Department's Redbird Outreach Center is close by. According to the business, it draws clients from DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Mansfield, Red Oak and the wider South Dallas area.
