Services span hair care and color, a blow dry bar, nails, massage, body treatments, facials, waxing, makeup, lashes and brows, and threading.

Hair appointments are offered by junior and senior stylists, and prices differ by the level of stylist. Each visit starts with a conversation about what the guest wants and how they live with their hair. Corrective color consultations are available for guests who are unhappy with box dye or with another salon's color, and they are priced after the consultation. Color adjustments must be done within seven days of the first appointment, and later color services are charged at the regular price.

Facials begin with a consultation with an esthetician about skin concerns and an analysis of skin type. The menu includes an LED Celluma facial, a dual exfoliation facial, a Lift and Sculpt microcurrent facial that can be added to any facial, and an Astrodome oxygen facial. Facials can be bought as series of four, six or eight. Body treatments include the Self Renewal Face and Body Experience, a salt glow, a complete nourishing body treatment and a back facial. Guests are draped during body treatments and can ask for changes, and they are advised to avoid hair removal for 24 hours before the service. Aromatherapy during body treatments can be tailored to relaxing, energizing, beautifying or rejuvenating.

Massage is priced largely by session length and can change with the goals chosen. Options include focus, full body, extended and chakra balancing massages, hot stone massage in 60 and 90 minute sessions, and pregnancy massage in 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions. Guests can change in a private space and are offered tea before a massage, and a free consultation about massage options is offered before booking. Two spa packages are offered: RENEW pairs a 45 minute massage with a salt glow, and RELAX pairs a 60 minute massage with a 60 minute facial.

Appointments can be booked online, by phone at (301) 652-1610, or in person. A credit card is required to reserve a spa or salon service, and it is not charged until the service, while walk-in services do not need a card. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours notice, or the full service value is charged to the card. First-time guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, or 20 minutes to settle in. Gratuities can be given in cash, by personal check or through Venmo, but not on a credit card. Gowns and smocks are provided for color services. Guests are asked to turn off cell phones, arrange child care before their appointment, and raise any concern about a service with the salon within 72 hours. The salon is not responsible for damage to clothing or for belongings left behind. Gift cards are sold online and the salon accepts major credit cards.

The salon builds its products and treatments around Aveda's naturally derived ingredients, and according to the salon it aims to use fewer harsh chemicals and toxins where possible. Hair and facial visits start with a consultation, and nail services are booked by consultation, where guests choose a polish, design or massage.

The salon describes its setting as comfortable and quiet, and asks guests to silence their phones.
