Autumn Joy Salon opened in December 2010 in historic downtown Canton, founded by Autumn Joy Cochran. It operated as a traditional salon there for 15 years before relocating to its current private suite within Beauty Collaborative Suites, a business Autumn and her husband started to provide private suites for independent beauty professionals.

Each appointment is focused on a single client, so a visit is private and unhurried. Color prices include a personalized consultation, a custom color application, gloss or toner when needed, a haircut and professional styling, with no add-ons at checkout. Pricing may change for exceptionally long or thick hair or for extra color mixing, and any adjustment is discussed at consultation.

Clients can book online at any hour through the salon's booking system, which also sends reminders 72 and 24 hours ahead. Buy Now, Pay Later is available through the booking platform for bookings from $50 to $4,000. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice for cuts and 48 hours for color, and a late cancellation or no-show is charged a share of the booked service. Clients who are more than 15 minutes late may need to skip part of their service.
