Aura Lashes

Aura Lashes is open Tuesday through Saturday, with shorter hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, a later Wednesday, and a Saturday morning start. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays. The studio offers three extension sets from a soft natural look to a dense, dark full set, along with a Korean lash lift that includes tint for clients who want their natural lashes curled and darkened instead of extended. Set appointments run from about 2 hours for the Full Glam Volume set to 2 hours and 15 minutes for the Aura Classic and Signature Hybrid sets.

Expect to lie on your back for two to three hours during an extension appointment. Bolsters and blankets are available to help you get comfortable. For a first lash appointment and for fills, arrive without eye makeup. Lashes need to be clean when you arrive; a lash bath is available for an added fee. Fills are recommended every two to three weeks and need at least 40 to 50 percent of the existing set to still be in place. Old extensions from another lash artist must be removed in a booked removal appointment, as the studio does not work over other artists' sets.

Booking requires a $30 deposit charged to the card on file. A 15-minute grace period applies, after which the appointment must be rescheduled. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice incurs a charge of 50 percent of the service, and a no-call, no-show is charged 50 percent of the service. Buy Now, Pay Later is offered in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

The studio says it tailors each lash look to the client's style and keeps up with current beauty trends.
