Aura Acne Clinic focuses on acne. It moved to a virtual format to reach more clients at a lower cost, so consultations and check-ins take place remotely rather than in a studio.

Each client starts with an initial phone consultation of about 30 minutes. From there, the acne specialist builds a personalized regimen around the client's skin type and concerns, using digital skin evaluation and product recommendations. The clinic describes its Face Reality program as treating acne grades 1 through 4 without prescription drugs or a dermatologist, and says it can be adapted for all ages, genders and skin types. Clients get bi-weekly check-ins with the acne specialist for at least the first 12 weeks, followed by quarterly check-ins. Orders ship directly to the client's home. The program typically runs three to six months and asks clients to keep up home care twice daily along with recommended lifestyle changes. The clinic says clients usually begin to notice changes after about 90 days.
