Electrolysis makes up much of the practice. Work is done on Apilus xCell 27.12 MHz equipment, using sterile single-use probes. Clients usually return every one to three weeks over roughly one to two years before hair is fully cleared, though the schedule differs between individuals. According to the salon, electrolysis is the sole method the FDA has approved for permanent hair removal, and the salon cites a permanency rate of about 93 percent among people treated worldwide. Transgender clients can also book electrolysis for beard removal, thinning and sculpting. Red vein treatment targets tiny red vessels and spider veins on the face and upper chest, and a doctor's letter is required.

Eyelash extensions use Xtreme Lashes by Jo Mouselli. A full set takes about two to three hours and costs $160, a partial set is $99, and fills are $50, with fills recommended every two to three weeks. Lash tint is $25, a lash perm is $50, and a lash lift takes about 20 minutes and lasts up to eight weeks. Brow tint is $15. Facials include a one-hour European spa facial, a one-hour acne management facial with the option to add LED light therapy, and an exfoliating glycolic treatment in which a series of six is recommended for best results. Herbal aloe body wraps are available, along with take-home wrap kits.

Waxing covers the Brazilian area, extended bikini, underarms, lip, eyebrows and face, using a blue wax blend with disposable applicators. The salon says products are hypoallergenic and fume free. Clients need hair at least a quarter inch long, about two to three weeks after the last shave. Relax and Wax No Scream Cream, a benzocaine numbing cream applied 35 to 45 minutes before waxing, is sold at $14.95 for a 1 oz tube, which the salon says covers five bikini waxes.

Booking is by appointment only, and advance booking is recommended. Clients are asked to arrive on time; late arrivals have their service shortened but are charged the full price. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice carry a 50 percent fee, and no-shows are charged for all booked services. Refunds are not given, and gratuities are at the client's discretion.

Every service is performed personally by the owner in a private salon. Electrolysis uses sterile disposable probes, and the owner follows Centers for Disease Control and OSHA guidelines.

Treatments take place in a relaxed, calming room with a tropical oasis feel, and reviewers describe the setting as private, clean and quiet.
