Atomic Blonde Salon is located at 11846 Quivira Road in Overland Park. The salon is built around hair color, from all-over and vivid color to specialty techniques such as balayage, babylights and color melt, with root color available as an add-on to specialty work.

The salon describes its stylists as experts. Jen Steiner, the owner, is a blonde color specialist who also works across all hair colors and cutting. Shelly Cascio is a hair color specialist, Cliff Richardson is a master stylist and color specialist, and Penelope Manwaring is a hairstylist.

Before a color service, clients can book a basic color consultation at no charge, or a consultation with a test strand for $20. Color correction is priced at $125 an hour and is booked as a three-hour appointment. Extra color mixed during a specialty color service is $10 per 2 oz. The salon charges a no-show fee.

Beyond color, the salon offers women's, men's and kids' haircuts, Keratherapy and Brazilian blowout smoothing, Milbon conditioning and moisture treatments, and hair extension services.
