The program moves through four steps: hydration, maintenance, protection, and glamour. The first three cover the care of the natural nail, and glamour, which is optional, adds nail polish. Clients can book manicures and pedicures with or without polish, a manicure with a paraffin wax treatment, or a children's set for ages 6 to 12. The business uses no artificial overlays and no harsh chemicals, and says its treatments start at 97% natural and 70% organic or better, paraben and phthalate free.
Booking is available online at either clinic at any hour, with a separate login needed for each location. A valid card must be on file to book, whether online, by phone or in person. The card is not charged at booking. A 50% missed appointment fee may be charged if a booking is not cancelled within 24 hours. The Short Pump clinic can be reached at (804) 360-3300. The Cary Street clinic is open Tuesday to Friday 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM.
Series packages reduce the per-visit cost. A Total Care Series of three manicures and three pedicures is $264, which saves $21, and a six-manicure series is $186, saving $24. Three pedicures cost $171 and six cost $330. The Total Care Series and the six-visit series must be used within 6 months. The Frequent Care Series offers special pricing on multiple manicures and pedicures and can be shared with friends and family.
The business also runs ATiR Academy, a hybrid nail technician school with online theory and in-person practice at ATiR clinics. It uses the Milady Nail Tech Curriculum, 8th Edition, prepares students for the Virginia State exam, and runs 5 to 8 months. Tuition is $3,000, with a payment plan available through PayPal Pay Later, and the state board exam fees are not included. An apprenticeship lasting 12 to 18 months is paid and covers the 2,000 hours required for licensure. Licensed nail technicians are also hired for the clinics, paid hourly plus tips, and do not need to build a personal client list.
